Routines make or break us. The days are long but the years are short, and the way that you spend you long days will become the way you spend your life before you know it. Changing your habits can change your life.
What follows is the simple routine that I follow each morning in order to start my day.
- Wake up, go to the bathroom, brush your teeth, wash your face (10 minutes)
- Walk to your kitchen, fill a mug with water, drink it (30 seconds)
- Fill the mug again, and put it in the microwave for two minutes minute (150 seconds)
- While the microwave is on, do as many pushups as you can. Once you cannot do anymore. roll over and complete crunches until the microwave finishes.
- Take a bag of green tea, and steep it.
- Find a quiet place and complete the following series of stretches.
- Roll your head slowly clockwise and then counterclockwise (60 seconds)
- Hang your head, and then lay your head all the back (60 seconds)
- Hamstring stretch (60 seconds)
- Samson Stretch (60 seconds)
- Sit quietly and enjoy the tea.
