We have been inundated with sports the last week. The Masters, the Start of the Baseball Season, and the end of NCAA basketball. If I can give you one short piece of advice, it’s to never bet on sports. The trouble is that it’snot the best team or best athlete that wins.
It’s the team that plays better. It’s the player that plays better.
Mike Tyson has a great saying, “everybody has a plan until they get hit in the face.” Mike Tyson lost a fight to Buster Douglas. Tyson was the 42:1 favorite to win.
At the moment of competition, things change. The real greats rise to the top, and the psuedo-greats fall.
You never know. The better team, the better athlete doesn’t always win. The individual that performs better wins.
It’s the same with you. the smartest person doesn’t get the A, the person that gets the most right answers gets the A
You have to play hard, and you have to play smart. You can do this. It’s great to be the best, but you have to play to back it up.
