Why Should I Hire You;

Why should I hire you?

After the interview, the boss says, “you’re a great candidate, but here’s the trouble. The other two candidates have 10 years more experience. So why should I hire you?”

to get that job, you have to say with total integrity, “I understand your dilemma, and I can only reply by saying that I will never ever be outworked. You can find people that have more experience, but you will never find someone who puts in more effort.”

Now you must talk with integrity, and that means that you had to be the hardest worker at your last job. You had to be the first one in the office in the morning and the last one to leave in the afternoon. It means you had to be the hardest working athlete on your sports teams. It means that you had to be the one who went all out all the time.

Could you say that with integrity? Lots of us wish we could, but simply don’t put in the time. Remember that the next time you feel like leaving a little early. When you are working on something, work as hard as you can.

People think more of hard work than they do of talent. Just look at Syracuse and the NCAA Basketball tournament this year. A #10 seed has managed to reach the final four, and they have the respect of a lot of teams seeded above them. Work hard today.
