For his 21rst birthday, his Uncle bought him a beautiful red sports car, a Ferrari 328. It must have cost over $150,000. The next day, the young man went to pick it up, and immediately drove over to his friend’s house to take a ride.
The two young men found a long stretch of lonely road where they could really let the car run. They took off down the road, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t get the car moving faster than 100 miles per hour. His buddy said, “pull over, let me show you how it’s done.”
Now his buddy was a mechanic, but even he couldn’t get the car going much faster than 100 miles an hour.
Something was wrong with the car!
They took the car back to the uncle and told him what happened. The uncle walked over to the car to have a look himself and smelled something; he smelled the brakes burning. He knelt down and found the parking brake still smoking.
“You left the parking brake on. I am surprised you got it all the way to 100!”
